Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of STRAKS Invoice, operated by STRAKS SERVICES, CVR 39734915, Quassunnguaq 24 B-216, 3900 Nuuk, Greenland.
By creating an account or using the service, the customer confirms that it is authorized to act for the relevant company workspace and accepts these Terms.
1. Service and customer responsibility
STRAKS Invoice provides tools for preparing, issuing, sending, storing and following up invoices, credit notes, reminders and related business records. The customer controls the information entered into its workspace.
The customer remains responsible for checking recipients, prices, dates, tax treatment, payment terms, invoice content, supporting documents and the legality of its business records before approval or sending.
2. Accounts and security
- Each person must use their own authorized account and keep authentication methods secure.
- Customers must not share passwords, authentication codes, magic links, session tokens or API credentials with STRAKS personnel or any third party.
- The customer must promptly report suspected unauthorized access and remove access for people who no longer need it.
3. Plans, credits and payment
The Free plan uses STRAKS Credits for certain actions, such as creating a new invoice draft, exporting a PDF, or sending an invoice email. Editing and saving an existing draft does not use another draft credit. Credit costs and available earning or purchase methods are described in the application and on the pricing page and may change for future transactions. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable between tenants, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Displayed paid subscriptions are not currently available through an automatic online checkout, and STRAKS Invoice does not currently initiate recurring card charges. A one-time STRAKS Credit pack may be requested from within the application; payment is arranged and confirmed separately, and credits are added only after payment is confirmed. A credit-pack order does not create a subscription or automatic renewal.
STRAKS may issue access codes that grant credits, temporary plan access, or other promotional benefits at its discretion. Access codes may have usage limits, expiry dates, or other conditions, and may be discontinued or revoked in cases of misuse.
4. Issued records and corrections
Drafts may be edited before issue. Once an invoice or credit note is issued, its accounting history is protected. The service may require a credit note, replacement invoice or other auditable workflow rather than alteration or deletion.
The customer must not attempt to bypass invoice numbering, delivery history, reminder history, payment history, credit-note accounting, subscription limits or other controls intended to preserve reliable records.
STRAKS Invoice can help prepare and send a staged reminder process, including an optional Inkasso (debt collection) warning. Sending an Inkasso warning through the service does not transfer the case to a debt collector; the customer remains responsible for arranging collection separately, or for closing the case manually, if an invoice remains unpaid.
5. Availability and acceptable use
Features and usage limits are shown in the application or pricing page. Scheduled maintenance, security work, infrastructure incidents or third-party service interruptions may affect availability.
The service must not be used for unlawful invoicing, fraud, unauthorized access, malware, harassment, infringement, evasion of legal retention duties or interference with other tenants.
6. Suspension and termination
STRAKS may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, accounting integrity or legal obligations. Customers may end use subject to outstanding payment, export and lawful-retention requirements.
7. Support
Customers can reach STRAKS support by email or through the bug-report form on the Support page. Support is practical assistance with using the application and is not a substitute for an accountant, bookkeeper, tax adviser, lawyer, debt-collection professional or other regulated adviser.
STRAKS support personnel will never ask for a customer’s password, authentication code, magic link or session token, and cannot access a customer’s company workspace on the customer’s behalf.
8. Contact and legal review
Questions may be sent to jd@jdscs.com. These Terms are intended to describe the operating model accurately, but legal wording should be reviewed by qualified counsel before STRAKS represents that the service satisfies every legal requirement applicable to a particular customer or jurisdiction.
