Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how STRAKS SERVICES processes personal data in connection with STRAKS Invoice. The customer normally determines why and how customer-entered business data is processed, while STRAKS provides and secures the service.

1. Information processed

  • Account and authentication information, company details and tenant membership.
  • Customer, contact, service, invoice, credit-note, reminder, payment-status, recurring-setting and attachment information entered by users.
  • Subscription, usage, delivery, audit, security, device, request and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Support requests and ordinary support communications, including bug reports.

2. Purposes and legal bases

Information is processed to provide the contracted service, authenticate users, maintain accounting-history protections, deliver messages, manage subscriptions, answer support requests, prevent misuse, investigate security events and comply with legal obligations. The applicable legal basis depends on the relationship and jurisdiction and may include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations and documented customer instructions.

3. Recipients, subprocessors and international processing

Relevant infrastructure, authentication, hosting, email-delivery, database, storage, monitoring and payment providers may process information only as needed to provide their services. Current providers and safeguards are documented in the Data Processing Addendum and related subprocessor information.

Where information is processed outside Greenland, Denmark or the EEA, STRAKS will use an applicable transfer mechanism and supplementary safeguards where required.

4. Retention and deletion

Information is kept only as long as needed for the service, documented security and audit purposes, contractual claims and applicable legal obligations. Account deletion does not require deletion of records that must lawfully be retained, including issued accounting records and essential audit history.

5. Rights and contact

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and complaint. Requests concerning customer-entered data should normally be directed to the customer that controls the relevant workspace. STRAKS can be contacted at jd@jdscs.com.
